Moscow: Vernacular Design — Flowers

Going through (finally!) my Moscow photos. Am frankly overwhelmed as to how to organize it, but glad to report there’s a lot of fun stuff in there.

Here’s a small compilation of signs that say “flowers”.




I think this is kind of neat because it shows some of the vernacular sign categories I noticed in Russia:

Missing for a flower sign in my collection is the Slavonic Church traditional, but you can see it one of the flower signs in the middle, for something else (toys, actually).

Also not represented is the Narrow Style, which I’ll deal with in another post, mostly because I still struggle with WordPress.
