The Future of The Book

March 26, 2012

Have been thinking a little bit about the future of the book.

Not very much, only a little bit, only quite lightly.
On the other hand, I am an experienced book reader and read a lot of junk online. Sometimes you don’t need to go too deep; you just need to have a bit of common sense and empathy.
Anyways, in a sense I think all my best books have been thinking about the future of the book. Or rather what, the the book can be. Destroying the standard model of the book.

But in this case, I am thinking about the future of the book in light of the digital future. Which I sort of began to play with my thesis and The Poster is Dead! Long Live the Poster!

I want to think about this more. I think this is a good way to frame experimentations with the book in the future.
